Coastal Care Partners recently announced their partnership with South University to provide students with additional learning opportunities affiliated with on-site medical training.
The program will allow students to participate in clinical rotations at Coastal Care Partners in addition to future employment opportunities with the organization. Students will work with Coastal Care Partners employees to gain real-world healthcare experience in a variety of sectors from nursing care for aging adults at home to more traditional office-based medicine.
“We’re excited to partner with South University to help train tomorrow’s healthcare professionals,” said Amy Pierce, CEO of Coastal Care Partners. “Medical care is changing, and people are asking for more personalized experiences and closer relationships with healthcare providers. Our clinically integrated aging care service offers highly trained caregiving in the home, private Nurse Care Management to help people navigate their healthcare challenges, and Concierge Adult Primary Care. We feel today’s medical professionals can benefit from learning how to deliver outstanding medical care along with fantastic customer service.”
“We are thrilled about this partnership with Coastal Care Partners,” said South University Director of Community Outreach and Development Katie Rudder Fender. “Working with our local employers is so important to us, and we were eager to put this partnership together for our students, alumni, and Coastal Care Partners employees!”
